Maximising materials
We use materials that are easy to recycle, ensuring any waste we generate is diverted from landfill. By understanding the properties of each material and adjusting specifications, we help reduce waste at the source. Our partnership with Eco-Power Environmental means food and general waste are carefully separated, with general waste recycled and food waste processed for sustainable energy production.
Supportive suppliers
Our suppliers also share our values. Coptrin have over 35 years' experience in the disposables market with the benefit of being independent and family-run. They provide us with a range of disposables helping us reduce dependence on single-use plastic.
All the disposables we now use across every site are compostable and all glasses are totally recyclable. Most glasses are already 100% recycled material and coffee cups are either compostable or recyclable.
As for food trays, they're 100% compostable and are accompanied by wooden utensils with customers offered paper straws if they need them.
